I’m going to admit it right now, Meghan and Nate’s wedding is extra special to me! Meghan is my niece and was the flower girl in my own wedding!! How cool is that?! So I was beyond thrilled when Meghan and Nate asked me to be a part of their special day by documenting it!

It has been an honor to watch Meghan grow up into such a wonderful young woman and Nate is just a great guy! They are absolutely perfect together! The joy that they radiate when they are around each other is infectious! The people in their lives mean the world to them. For their place cards at the reception Meghan and Nate wrote a personal letter to each person that attended their wedding! See what I mean?!! They LOVE their people, and their people LOVE them! Meghan and Nate are the type of people that you just want to be around!

We had every every possible weather situation that day (Except snow! Thank you Lord!) It was sunny in the morning and while getting ready at the church, and then during the ceremony, the skies opened up and it rained right up until the beginning of the reception! We had to get creative with the bridal party shots and bride and groom portraits! Thankfully, I carry clear umbrellas (another, Thank you Lord!) and they were put to good use! Meghan and Nate didn’t miss a beat and just rolled with the entire day, rain and all, always joyful!!

I’m so happy for the two of them! Enjoy a peak at their day!
